Former The Children's Place CFO joins Centric Brands Inc.

After exiting The Children's Place, Anurup Pruthi has joined Centric Brands Inc., formerly known as Differential Brands Group Inc., as Chief Financial Officer. The consumer brands group announced in a press release that the new appointment will be effective immediately.


Centric Brands' portfolio includes company-owned labels such as Robert Graham, Hudson and Swims - Instagram: @robertgrahamnyc


In his new role, Pruthi will report to Jason Rabin, the company's chief executive office and will aid in the growth of the company's women's, men's, kid's apparel and accessories categories. 

“With more than 25 years of experience spanning numerous financial and operational roles at large retail and consumer branded companies across the globe, Anurup brings extensive knowledge and expertise to our executive team," said Rabin. 

Prior to his working as chief financial officer at The Children’s Place, Pruthi served as the CFO at Reliance Industries, as well as the CFO of the Future Group business consulting and services company. In addition, Pruthi has held high-level management roles and operational positions at Burberry, Liz Claiborne, and Mexx Europe Holding. Pruthi held his most recent role at The Children's Place from 2014. 

Centric Brands Inc. also announced the addition of Glenn Krevlin to the company's Board of Directors. 

Krevlin is the founder as well as the principal and portfolio manager of Glenhill Capital, and was previously partner and portfolio manager at Cumberland Associates. He currently serves on the board of directors for Design Within Reach, Inc., and formerly served on the Board of Directors for Restoration Hardware.
