Fred Perry welcomes back brand alum as managing director

Fred Perry chairman John Flynn has called on Richard Gilmore's services once more. "Richard brings with him a strong knowledge of our business and a passion for our brand. We’re looking forward to his return, and to the future development of Fred Perry", he explained. 

After more than four years serving as chief operating officer at Jigsaw, the former Fred Perry planning director is returning to the brand he left in 2013, this time as managing director, a position left vacant by Barry Webb last May.

For its 2016-17 operations, ending March 2017, Fred Perry saw its sales decrease by 2% to £110.8 million. Its profits, however, rose to £16.1 million, up from £15.3 million the previous year.
