Fred Segal turns into mini ski resort with Bogner

From November 15 and until January 15, the Fred Segal store on Sunset Boulevard has been transformed into a mini ski resort, in collaboration with German luxury sports brand, Bogner. A concept called 'Ski Sunset' where visitors can discover a SoCal-meets-St. Moritz installation, in a ski resort decor with fir trees, chairlifts and snowdrifts, but also palm trees and deckchairs.

To celebrate the collaboration, Fred Segal is unveiling Bogner's Fall/Winter collection, a collection that combines innovative craftsmanship with luxury and style, rich materials such as Bavarian wool and high-performance stretch nylon, combined with embroidery, color blocking, cable knit patterns and fringe.
 
In celebration of Bogner's 90th anniversary, a selection of the limited-edition Frozen Riviera collection representing the heritage and future of the brand are featured. Also highlighted are pieces from the James Bond capsule collection. The cornerstone for the special partnership was initiated over 50 years ago by Willy Bogner Jr. when he produced the world's first action ski scenes for the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The collection honors the long-standing partnership on the 60th anniversary of the James Bond films, Bogner's 90th anniversary and the three subsequent films featuring Bogner-produced action sequences. 

For Ski Sunset, Bogner and LA-based Harden Cashmere present a capsule of unisex knit sweaters and blankets available for purchase exclusively at Fred Segal Sunset Boulevard and on Bogner.com. The Bogner x Harden collection plays on '80s ski shop tees with unique prints of brand icons juxtaposed on local landmarks, including the silhouette of a skier jumping over the Hollywood Sign." 
 
A series of accessories featuring Hollywood under a white snow spirit also includes candles, plaids, fluorescent caps, mugs and hats.

Finally, a corner reveals, through old television sets, the whole history of Bogner, a luxury clothing brand founded in 1932 by Willy Bogner and pimped in 1948 by Maria Bogner, who then created the first spindle, a technical and chic pants made of stretch materials and quickly named "Bogner", and invented a system of closure in B, the "B zip" which will become the symbol of the brand.

Bogner, which has existed since 1932, is led by Heinz Hackl and Gerrit Schneider, and its owner is Willy Bogner, represented by trustee Arndt Geiwitz.
