Free People announced on Monday the opening of its first store in Spokane, WA on January 27, 2017. The new store will be the brand’s fourth Washington State store joining two locations in Seattle and one in Bellevue.
The 4,538-square-foot store is designed to feel like a personal studio featuring white washed wood, painted white bricks and blackened steel signage on the façade, custom bronze hardware on glass entry doors, and rugged and feminine details throughout the store.
Free People Spokane will also carry the brand’s full product offering including apparel and footwear and the FP Movement activewear line.
The Urban Outfitters, Inc. brand performed well in the holiday season with retail sales increasing 2.9%, which followed a decrease in comparable retail sales in the third quarter. The company achieved record third quarter sales at $862 million, but it missed analysts' estimates.
