Frito Lay Canada launches soccer-inspired capsule collection with Bauer X

Frito Lay Canada has teamed up with Canadian brand, Bauer X, along with artists from across the country, to launch a soccer-inspired collection. 

Dubbed 'Made For The Moment Capsule', the collection was crafted by 13 artists from different provinces and different backgrounds — a painter, an animator, a photographer, fashion designers and apparel makers — and celebrates Canada’s presence at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. 

The contributing creatives include: Shane Long (BC), Dusty LeGrande (AB), Matt Hricz (SK), Adrian Kinnavanthong & Nick Welch (MB), Kwame Delfish (ON), Amika Cooper (ON), Yannis Davy Guibinga (QC), Funmi Odeniyi (NS), Ryan & Jenna Greeley (PEI), Rob Reese (NB), and Chris Evans (NL).

In particular, the collection includes a jersey featuring florals found in Canada and the homelands of the artists and immigrants, while the back of the jersey is dedicated to where we come from. Completing the design are sleeves that honour the fishermen and fisherwomen who define the edges of the country. 

In addition to the jersey, the Made For The Moment Capsule includes a jacket, crewneck sweatshirt, scarf, socks, toque and handmade soccer ball. All proceeds from the capsule collection will support the Remix Project, a Toronto-based multidisciplinary arts training program for talented youth.

The limited-edition capsule pieces are now available at MadeForTheMoment.ca, as well as at an immersive pop-up store in Toronto, at 225 Richmond Street West, running between November 26 and 28.
