G-Star chooses a more universal campaign

G-Star gave us a dog skeleton in 2013 and let the artists express themselves on stage in 2014. In 2015, for its new communications campaign, unveiled this week at the Pitti Uomo trade fair in Florence, the Dutch denim brand has returned to a universal message.

Shootée par la photographe allemande très cotée Ellen von Unwerth, celle-ci présente une série de photos en noir et blanc présentant des jeunes beaux et sympathiques, habillés avec des total looks denim G-Star. « En plus d'être sensuelles et féminines, mes modèles sont également fortes, persuasives, intenses, explique la photographe dans un communiqué. G-Star a toujours été brut, spontané, à l’esprit jeune et sauvage, et mon travail les rejoint dans ce sens. »

The campaign slogan shouts out in thick yellow letters, preceded by the inevitable hashtag: "Wear it #tightorwide". And the photos present the different cuts offered in the collection, from skinny to loose, for men and women. These ads will be in circulation as of February in the G-Star network.
