Genesco announces resignation of Kenneth J. Kocher

Genesco Inc. announced Tuesday that Kenneth J. Kocher has resigned as President of Lids Sports Group and as Senior Vice President of Genesco.

 
Kocher served as the SVP of Genesco from October 2006 to February 2016 and held the position of President of Lids Sports Group from October 2005 to February 2016. He joined the company in 1997 when it was known as Hat World Corporation and served as the Chief Financial Officer. Kocher will remain employed with the company for up to six months as a consultant.

Genesco has begun its search for Kocher’s successor, but in the interim, Genesco Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Robert J. Dennis will act as President.
