Geneva Watch Group appoints industry veteran Greg Thumm as EVP

Geneva Watch Group has announced watch executive Greg Thumm as its new Executive Vice President, effective immediately.

In his new role, Thumm will lead sales and marketing for Geneva Watch Group. CEO Christian Frommherz said, "With Greg’s strong background and experience we are delighted to have him leading Sales and Marketing at Geneva,"

Thumm brings 30 years of watch industry experience to the role. His most recent positions include President of Bulova Corporation, Senior VP of Product Development at Fossil, Inc., and Senior VP of Product Development at Fada/Geneva Watch Co.

Thumm first began working with Geneva in 1995 and stayed with the company for 9 years, during which time he successfully launched the Kenneth Cole New York brand watches.

He then left the company for a position with Fossil, before moving on to Bulova, continuing in consulting and global business leadership. He returns to Geneva from Lomb Art LLC, the US subsidiary of Swiss-based Lomb Art AG, a global packaging and retail branding company.

Geneva designs, manufactures and distributes analog watches. Its licensed fashion and lifestyle brands include Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction, Ted Baker London, Nicole Miller, Glamour, and Sean John.

Thumm's appointment as EVP with Geneva became effective January 1, 2018.
