Good American branches out into maternity wear

 Khloe Kardashian's denim label Good American is branching out into maternity wear.

The LA-based fashion label is launching eight different maternity jean styles for expectant and new mothers, with the collection, dubbed "Good Mama," set to drop tomorrow.

The move comes as Kardashian, the brand's co-founder, prepares to welcome her first child. "When I actually became pregnant and started dressing my bump, I realized that there is such a gap in the market for cute, fashion-forward denim," the star wrote in a statement posted to the brand's Instagram account. "I am such a denim and bodysuit type of girl so it really hurt my soul that I could not wear a cute pair of jeans while pregnant. That's why I decided to create Good Mama."

According to WWD, the Good Mama collection will run in a size-inclusive range of 00-24, priced from $149 to $179. It will feature two different fits, named ‘The Honeymoon' and ‘The Home Stretch,' designed to span all the stages of pregnancy.

Since launching in 2016, Good American -- the brainchild of Kardashian and Emma Grede -- has gone on to make a name for itself as a size-inclusive go-to brand for denim and separates, all of which are manufactured in the US.

In addition to developing her fashion empire, the budding designer could also be set to follow her sisters Kim and Kylie into the beauty business. Back in January, it was reported that she had filed for permission to trademark the names "KOKO Kollection by Khloé Kardashian" and "KOKO Kollection" as cosmetics ventures.
