New York City-based footwear brand Greats and Robin Hood, New York’s largest poverty-fighting organization, launched a collaboration sneaker aimed to combat poverty.
The partnership sneaker is a special edition version of Greats’ Pronto sneaker featuring a green and blue colorway. The low top trainer features highest grade Italian suede, grey ballistic mesh, 3M reflective details and a Vibram tread sole in tan and white. The special edition sneaker also features the name ‘Robin Hood’ on the heel of each sneaker, as well as the organization’s archer logo on the tongue.
Robin Hood is a New York-based organization focused on finding, funding and creating programs that generate meaningful results for New York’s poorest residents. All of the proceeds from the sneaker will be donated to the Robin Hood Foundation, and Greats will donate a pair of in-line shoes for every collaboration sneaker sold.
The Robin Hood Pronto sneaker is currently available for pre-order on the Greats website for $240. The pre-sale will end on May 23, and the sneakers will ship on June 30, 2016.
