Guerlain spices up L'Homme Idéal for 2018 flanker

Luxury brand Guerlain presents L'Homme Idéal L'Intense, a new flanker for its emblematic male fragrance.

With this latest version, the perfume brand is inspired by modern masculinity, channeling the mysterious, magnetic and ultra-sexy sides of its Homme Idéal.

After taking elegant, seductive and sporty turns since its initial release, Guerlain's L'Homme Idéal brings a mysterious intensity to 2018 with a fiery, spicy creation. L'Homme Idéal L'Intense is crafted by perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk.

Almond, the signature note of the L'Homme Idéal collection, is more powerful and magnetic than ever in this latest flanker. It is matched with fiery chili notes, smoked wood notes, plus leather and patchouli. This is rounded off with vanilla tincture -- a Guerlain specialty -- creating a woody, oriental, spicy fragrance.

The Eau de Parfum bottle takes the same angular, robust and charismatic form as its predecessor, finished for the first time in black lacquer for a stylish and mysterious effect. The dark finish contrasts with bright yellow details.

Homme Idéal L'Intense is due out from May 2 in 50ml and 100ml formats, with prices starting from €70.
