Guess names Gilles Bariguian as managing director of Europe, Middle East and Africa

The denim wear brand has named Gilles Bariguian as managing director for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Bariguian is coming to this position after having spent a large part of his career at Proctor & Gamble. He will head of all the brands activity within this key market and will a member of top management at Guess.

The arrival of Gilles Bariguian at Guess comes one month after the departure of Luca Donnini, who decided to leave the position at Guess Europe to focus on other projects.

Gilles Bariguian started his career in 1991 at Proctor and Gamble in France. From there, he moved on to head marketing and communication for the company in Geneva and Brussels. After fantastic results in Europe, he transferred to China where he successfully ran on of Proctor & Gamble’s main subsidiaries in Asia. After, he returned to Switzerland to become global operations leader of Braun.
