Hackett London links again with Jenson Button for SS22 campaign
Upscale UK menswear retailer Hackett London is continuing its successful association with British racing driver and former Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button.
The pair have linked up again to release a new promotional campaign, this time for SS22, following the success of the AW21 debut collection.
Shot on the beach at Camber Sands in East Sussex by British photographer John Balsom, and conceptualised by creative agency Comunica+A, this season's collection is “designed for gentlemen in pursuit of summer comfort and elegance”.
Within the collection, Button sports some of Hackett London’s ‘hero’ pieces for the new season, including a linen hopsack jacket and lightweight blazer crafted from pure Tencel in a twill weave.
The line also includes a spring weight military inspired jacket, and a tan suede bomber jacket, as well as a selection of trousers and striped shirts.
The Hackett/Button launch is a timely one, given the new Formula 1 season begins this weekend in Bahrain. And motorsports, and especially the Grand Prix, have long been a strong source of inspiration for men’s fashion brands aiming to capturing the excitement and prestige linked to the sport.
