Hamilton actress releases Hamilton-themed collection

One of the stars of the Tony-nominated musical Hamilton has been tapped by Lou & Grey for a vintage-inspired line of clothes and jewelry.

Jasmine Cephas Jones, who played Peggy Schuyler of the Schuyler Sisters in the Broadway original cast, will front the line of products, all inspired by New York and Jones' musical upbringing.

T-shirts and sweatshirts will feature sayings penned by Cephas Jones, such as “Love will Conquer”, “Brooklyn Original”, “Track 1 Side A”, and “Groovy Baby”. Each saying relates back to a moment in Cephas Jones life, like “Brooklyn Original”, that the actress explains, “Brooklyn is where I was raised. I had an amazing childhood growing up around different cultures, music, and food. No matter where I go I’ll always be a Brooklyn girl.”All apparel ranges from $45 to $75.

Also featured in the collection, 14-karat-gold necklaces, spelling out the words “Groovy” and “Brooklyn” in gold lettering. Jewelry sits around $185 to $240.
