Happy Socks to open Herald Square location

Eye-popping sock, underwear and swimwear brand Happy Socks is set to open its fourth store in New York City’s Herald Square. 

 
Located at 2 Herald Square at 50 Sixth Avenue, the store is scheduled to open its doors on October 29. Situated opposite Macy’s Herald Square flagship and adjacent to the world’s largest Victoria’s Secret, the 630 square-foot store is decorated to reflect the brand’s signature use of bright colors and playful prints.

Inside, shoppers will be able to browse all of the Swedish brand’s categories, including the new FW19 collections from Dressed and Hysteria, seasonal wool socks, the brand’s latest collaborations with partners like the Pink Panther and localized New York-edition socks, Happy Socks said. 

The Herald Square opening is the latest in the brand’s U.S. expansion plan, Happy Socks said, following the opening of a new store in Los Angeles in July and the opening of the brand’s first-ever creative hub in April, located in LA’s Silverlake neighborhood. 

The brand said it plans to continue its U.S. expansion with the opening of a fifth New York City store location later this year. 
 
Founded in 2008, Happy Socks currently operates U.S. stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
