Harrods boosts beauty with launch of rewards programme
Rewards programmes are not exclusively reserved for mainstream retail. Luxury retailer Harrods has launched ‘MyBeauty from Harrods Rewards’, a specifically curated programme for its beauty customers.
As part of the programme, MyBeauty members can access a host of member-only benefits. These include earning points on all beauty purchases, event invitations, exclusive offers and promotions and services throughout the year, and first access to new launches.
MyBeauty is a hub is tailored to H Beauty customers in all five locations across the UK, as well as online, and at Harrods' London Knightsbridge flagship.
As an extension of the existing rewards programme, members must be part of Harrods Rewards in order to join and sign up for the additional perks, it said. New or existing Harrods Rewards members can sign up to the entirely free programme.
To celebrate the launch of MyBeauty, members will receive £20 in Rewards points with their first £25 spend, plus double Rewards points on all beauty purchases up until 6 November.
Harrods will also celebrate the launch bringing the ‘H beauty Carnival’ to each of its five H Beauty stores on consecutive weekends throughout October and November. Created exclusively for members, it will offer a line-up of festivities including a full calendar of masterclasses, live DJs, a carnival-themed Champagne Bar takeover, beauty vending machines, and build-your-own-goody bags when customers spend £50 or more in-store. Tickets are free to members, but attendees need to book a slot to ensure they secure a space, Harrods noted.
H beauty Carnival timings are: Gateshead, 8-9 October; Milton Keynes, 15-16 October; Bristol, 22–23 October; Lakeside: 29–30 October; and Edinburgh, 5-6 November.
