Helmut Lang and Parley launch outerwear capsule collection

Helmut Lang is the latest fashion powerhouse to team up with Parley for the Oceans on a capsule collection of unisex jackets. 

 
Made with Parley’s signature ocean plastic textile, developed by upcycling marine plastic waste, the collection offers two outerwear options including the Stadium Jacket retailing at $265 and the Hooded Raincoat at $345. 
 
Both styles are offered in black and white and feature snap button closures, jet pockets and minimal branding.

Adidas has been collaborating with Parley for the Oceans since 2016, while the environmental organization was equally recognized at The Fashion Awards 2018 when its founder Cyrill Gutsch was announced as the winner of the ceremony's ‘Special Recognition Award for Innovation'. 
 
Helmut Lang has promised to integrate more environmentally-friendly materials into upcoming collections to help protect the oceans.
