The British designer gave his celebrity guests wearable payment rings to enable immediate purchase during his Spring 2016 fashion show.

Celebrities such as Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe donned wearable payment technology in the form of unique rings during Henry Holland's show on Saturday September 19. Using the rings, wearers were able to buy items from the catwalk in real-time. Purchases were then handed to the guests immediately upon leaving the event.

The initiative, a fashion first, was the result of a collaboration between the designer and Visa Europe. The rings, which all featured design elements from Holland's collection, contained payment receiver tags that connected to Visa's payment network via Bluetooth.
