Jérôme Mage, the French designer known for having collaborated for 20 years as a creative director with Californian brands eyewear brands as Sky Optic, Arnette and the French watchmaking house March LA.B, in addition to heading up his own house of glasses and limited-edition objects since 2014, will open a new store on North Sycamore Avenue in Hollywood's Sycamore District this summer.
Neighboring the famous fashion concept store Just One Eye, the canteen Tartine Bakery and the glamorous restaurant Gigi’s, this second boutique will join the one opened in Venice on Abbot Kinney Boulevard last November.
Customers will find essentials from the designer’s collections: luxury glasses created in limited edition, between 50 and 100 units in general. Produced from titanium or acetate and handcrafted largely in Japan and Italy, the lines are inspired by celebrities and mythical American figures, as well as models Dealan, Yves, Felini, Balzac or Walker. The store will also retail models created in collaboration with artists, brands and designers.
Jérôme Mage in recent years has also collaborated with the actor Dennis Hopper in 2015, with Blue Crush star, Kate Bosworth, and with the label Enfants Riches Déprimés. Mage has also partnered with the organization Yellowstone Forever, which protects Yellowstone National Park, in Wyoming.
A final choice linked to the designer’s affection for this region of the United States and in which he now lives part of the year.
