Hublot and French football club, Paris Saint-Germain, debuted the official watch of Paris Saint Germain named the Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Paris Saint-Germain watch at an exclusive cocktail party atop Rockefeller Center last week.
The company’s U.S. Managing Director, Jean-Francois Sberro, hosted the event, which saw star players Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Blaise Matuidi, Thiago Silva, and Kevin Trapp, who recently joined the ball club, in attendance. Other attendees included New York Giants quarterback, Jesse Palmer and star wide receiver, Victor Cruz, New York Knicks’ player Lance Thomas, FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 champion Kelley O’Hara, and LVMH USA CEO, Pauline Brown.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, noted, "Hublot is thrilled to welcome the Paris Saint-Germain team to New York City as we show our support for this great team through our dedication to the sport of football. Our brand has an exciting history with Paris Saint-Germain, and here tonight, we continue to celebrate 'Hublot Loves Football' and the Art of Fusion by blending together different aspects of the French culture through sports, art, music and food."
The Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde watch is the second watch by Hublot to be made for the ball club. The timepiece features a 45.5mm titanium case with sapphire anti-reflective treatment and the Paris Saint-Germain logo printed on the case back glass. The production run was limited to only 100 timepieces.
Hublot introduced the first timepiece for the ball club, the King Power Paris-Saint Germain, in 2013 when it became the official timekeeper and official watch of the team.
