Valley was founded in Los Angeles in 2006. It has three New York City locations in Chelsea, Nolita and on the Upper East Side. It delivers custom nail art and high quality nail care.

Robin Moraetes, President of HBG said "Valley was the first of its kind, introducing nail art to consumers before it was a trend."

The acquisition of Valley adds a nail brand to HBG's beauty holdings which include hair, skin and makeup. HBG's current brand portfolio includes DreamDry, co-founded by Rachel Zoe, Spruce & Bond and Pucker.

HBG is growing quickly. It recently announced a nationwide partnership with Neiman Marcus to launch DreamDry salons across the country. Next month HBG will also open the first of a new multi-brand concept shop in New York.

HBG is also increasing its store count this year. It currently operates its four brands through 16 retail locations but has plans for 2017 to expand to 19 stores with new product lines and services.

Joining HBG "will enable the business to grow to the next level," said Valley founder Nina Werman. She continued "I'm proud Valley has brought such meaning to our clients over the years."

Werman will stay with her brand under HBG's ownership and will assume the title of Founder and Brand Director of Valley.
