Hudson Jeans and Robert Graham merge to form Differential Brands Group

Joe’s Jeans Inc. announced Thursday the completion of a merger between Hudson Jeans and Robert Graham. The company has been renamed Differential Brands Group Inc. and will also remain publicly listed on NASDAQ under DFBG.

The new company will be a public platform focusing on branded operating companies in the premium consumer space. Differential will grow brands through a global, omni-channel distribution strategy across premium wholesale channels, direct-to-consumer retail stores and e-commerce.
 
Michael Buckley, current CEO of Robert Graham, will lead Differential as Chief Executive Officer. He has obtained previous leadership experience having served at True Religion, Diesel and Ben Sherman. Buckley said, “I believe Differential is uniquely positioned to become one of the foremost premium omni-channel brand platforms in the world, and I am thrilled with the opportunity to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer and to work closely with the Board of Directors and Tengram Capital Partners in the years to come.”

Robert Graham was founded in 2001 and was created with the premise of introducing sophisticated, eclectic style to the fashion market as an American-based company. The company operates 30 freestanding stores nationwide and sells at luxury department stores and boutiques. Hudson Jeans designs, produces and sells apparel-related products to the retail and premium markets.
