Hugo Boss entrusts its accessories to Anne-Cécile Poizat and Diego Porro

Hugo Boss is putting an emphasis on its accessories by completing reorganising the division. Anne-Cécile Poizat joined the German brand in July as a brand, merchandising and style manager for shoes and accessories for women, a division she became the head of in January. She previously held the same position at Salvatore Ferragamo and Céline.

Diego Porro was recruited more recently and holds the equivalent position in the men's sector. Most recently he was at Italian leather goods brand Serapian. Before that he was the style and merchandising manager of leather accessories and shoes at Ermenegildo Zegna and in the past was in charge of leather goods items for Dunhil and Burberry.

The operations, production and development of the accessories remains under the leadership of Francesco Scarpa, who along with Anne-Cécile Poizat and Diego Porro reports to Christoph Auhagen, the group's chief brand officer. Auhagen has also been the interim head of Hugo Boss menswear since the departure of German designer Ingo Wilts a few months ago and who has still not been replaced.

This reorganisation in the accessories division comes following the departure of Anton Magnani, who left Hugo Boss to take over the leadership of footwear for luxury Italian brand Lario 1898, from the Korean group E-Land, which notably holds men's footwear brand Sutor Mantellassi.

Anton Magnani joined Hugo Boss in 2005 as a managing director of the shoes and accessories division, moving up to senior vice president of this division in 2008 and playing a significant role in its development.
