Lederman, who formerly held the position of chief operating officer at the company, will replace Hybrid Apparel's founder and current CEO Jarrod Dogan. Dogan will remain with the company in an advisory role.

In his new position, Lederman will work directly with the company's board of directors to manage strategic acquisitions, business growth, and strengthen company-partner relationships. Lederman brings 10 years of experience with the company to the role.

"Jarrod, who founded Hybrid over twenty years ago in the back of a print shop in East Los Angeles, is an invaluable team member," Hybrid board member Keoni Schwartz said in a press release. "We are excited to have him work directly with the board in a business development/advisory role to navigate and further grow the business. Throughout his tenure, he has enhanced the organization at every level, adding key talent, investing in infrastructure and navigating new growth opportunities in a dynamic and challenging retail environment."

Dogan said: "Given Hybrid's current financial strength and stability, coupled with the strong team we have assembled from top to bottom, this is the perfect time to turn over operations to David."

The apparel brand was founded by Dogan in 1997, and carries brands like Reebok, Dakine and Levi's.
