The final selection includes representatives from countries including Australia, Belgium, China, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Israel, Japan, Peru, South Korea, Switzerland, the UK, the US, Taiwan and Thailand.

The fashion finalists are Louis Appelmans (Belgium), Daoyuan Ding (China), Annaliese Griffith-Jones (Australia), Moon Hussain (UK), Cecilia Del Carmen Juarez Balta (Peru), Jimin Kim (South Korea), Rafael Kouto (Switzerland), Shie Lyu (China), Yukika Saito (Japan), Anni Salonen (Finland), and Hana Yagi (Japan).

They will be vying for a number of awards, internships and job opportunities including the main ITS Award powered by Allianz which will reward a winning finalist with a €15,000 cash prize. The winner of the ITS award will also receive 12 months of mentoring from the Pitti Immagine tutoring and consulting team and the opportunity to showcase their collection at Pitti Uomo or Super in 2020.

The winner of the OTB Award will receive €10,000  and an internship with an ITS partner, while the Diesel Award will include a six-month internship at its headquarters in Italy.

Ten designers will also participate in a illycaffè challenge to win €10,000, and the winner of the Tomorrow Award will have a space to showcase their work at the Tomorrow Le Palais Showroom in Paris.

The ITS 2019 final will be held in Trieste on 12 July.
