Iconix Brand Group welcomes John Haugh as CEO

The Iconix Brand Group Board of Directors announced on February 23 that John Haugh will serve as the company’s President and a member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately.  Haugh will become Chief Executive Officer of Iconix on April 1, 2016, following Interim CEO Peter Cuneo’s transition to Executive Chairman of the Iconix Board.

 
John Haugh boasts an impressive resume with over 30 years of experience leading premier brands and highly respected retail companies. He formerly served as President of Sun, Luxury and Retail Services for Luxottica Retail, N.A., where he led over 14,000 Sunglass Hut employees and managed the Luxottica and Macy's, Inc. license operations business, among other things.
 
Peter Cuneo said of Iconix’s newest appointment: "Our Board has identified in John a talented and experienced executive who can focus Iconix on accelerating organic growth with our portfolio of brands and on exploring opportunities for new acquisitions," said Interim CEO of Iconix, Peter Cuneo.
