MUMBAI, April 6 (Reuters) - India's cotton output in the year ending September is projected at 30.18 million bales (of 170 kg each), a trade association said on Tuesday 6 April.

"Cotton Association of India (CAI) estimated the cotton crop for the current season at 30.18 million bales," the trade body of cotton industry players said in an e-mailed statement.

The association estimated India's cotton exports at 7.2 million bales, the statement showed.
