Inditex generates an average of 27 jobs a day, according to HR data from the last 12 months. In this period, the Spanish group’s staff number was increased by 10,000 people worldwide.

Inditex creates 27 new jobs daily

Three out of four jobs created by Spain’s largest fashion holding were based outside of Spain. Globally, Amacio Ortega’s company employs over 128,000 people. According to the Spanish newspaper, El Mundo, Inditex recruited 2,523 people in Spain in the last year, thanks to its network expansion.

This year, Inditex has beat its own records, increasing sales by 17% in the first half-year. The group’s growth has driven the company to build a new design center for Stradivarius, and complete preparations to expand its headquarters in Arteixo, Spain.
