Indochino announced last week the appointment of Michael Mayes as the brand’s first Creative Director.
As Creative Director, Mayes will be responsible for shaping the creative vision, brand voice and content strategy for Indochino. He will lead the brand’s creative team in building global campaigns, developing marketing assets for the e-commerce and retail channels and establishing an engaging voice for the brand. In addition, he will work directly with Chief Marketing Officer Peter Housley.
Mayes is a business school graduate turned writer that spent his early career at DDB, MacLaren McCann and Taxi where he created campaigns for Mini Cooper, WestJet, Williams Sonoma, and Nike among other international brands.
The appointment follows a string of new hires at Indochino including Drew Green as CEO and Clay Haeber as Vice President of Technology.
Indochino is an online made to measure company with showrooms in Toronto, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Beverly Hills, Boston and its home city Vancouver. The brand has the goal to open 150 global retail stores and deliver one million made to measure suits by 2020.
