The 2,700-square-foot store is located in the heart of DC's nationally-designated historic district, Georgetown. At the two-level showroom, customers are paired with a 'Style Guide' who takes measurements, assists with fabric selections and more, in order for customers to create and fully customize their suit, blazer, vest, pants and shirts.

The store launch is in-line with the Vancouver-based menswear company’s previously announced plans to open 20 stores in North America this year.

Indochino has had a focus on retail growth on the East and West Coasts of the United States.

Its most recent location in Washington, DC is its 13th showroom to open this year including recent launches in new markets such as Paramus, NJ, San Diego, CA, Portland, OR and Kansas City, MO. It equally operates cluster stores in high performing areas such as New York, Toronto, Boston and LA.

Next, it is slated to open further showrooms in Cleveland, OH on October 18th and New Orleans, LA on November 8th.

"Opening our 50th showroom is an exciting moment for everyone at Indochino, and to be reaching this milestone in the US capital makes it all the more incredible," said Drew Green, President and CEO of Indochino.

"As we continue to welcome new customers from across North America, we're finding that offering an in-person experience plays an integral role in growing a legion of loyal fans."

In addition to expanding its retail presence, Indochino has also been growing its product offering with the launch of business-casual pants and overcoats last October and most recently, new casual button-up shirts.

The brand is also developing an upcoming custom fabric collection inspired by and created in tandem with Signature Athlete, RJ Barrett, who is making his NBA debut with the New York Knicks this season.
