Influenster Releases the Most Popular Beauty Brands for Holiday 2016

Online community Influenster has declared the top beauty brands of 2016, giving Anastasia Beverly Hills the most votes, with Urban Decay and MAC Cosmetics taking home second and third respectively. Influenster also analyzed the most popular beauty products based on region.

 


The top performing products of the year - Influenster

 

The winning products are decided over two weeks of voting. Over 84,000 people cast 200,000 votes across 99 categories. The website included both luxury and drugstore versions of each category.

Chanel’s Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Parfum was named the top fragrance. The most-listed products on the entire website were Too Faced’s Better than Sex Mascara, Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner, Urban Decay’s Naked Palette, ColourPop’s Highlighter, and Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit.

While Kat Von D was the best luxury liquid/gel eyeliner, Maybelline took home the drug store version of the award. Too Faced was named the best luxury bronzer, with Physician’s Formula being the best drugstore bronzer. Anastasia Beverly Hills and Nyx were the best eyebrow pencils, in the luxury and drugstore categories respectively.

Influenster is an online community that allows members to discuss cosmetics products and share tips through online forums. The community currently boasts 2.5 million members, with over 11 million reviews being written since the site’s 2013 launch.
