Interfilière New York returns for sustainability, tech-focused trade show

Interfilière New York, a global sourcing show for intimates, swimwear and athleisure, is coming to the Javits Center for a two-day workshop from October 16 through 17, featuring an itinerary dedicated to sustainability and tech innovations.

Produced by Eurovet Americas, the trade show marks Interfilière New York's seventh year in the Big Apple and is set to host 70 exhibiting mills and over 600 attendees.

According to a press release, the event schedule includes a ‘Creative Trend Lab’ focused on material, colors and prototypes displays from lingerie and beachwear company Concepts Paris, VIP conferences, networking events and more.

Special exhibitions will kick-off with the ‘Sustainability in Swim x Sports x Intimates’ conference, a panel of industry brands within the three apparel categories, discussing design and fabric sourcing innovation efforts and objectives, with a focus on high-performance fabrics, sustainability, and design improvements. Confirmed panelists include Egemen Izci, raw materials innovation manager of Lululemon, and moderator Stephanie Muhlenfeld, founder of The Squad - Creative Consulting Group, among others. 

Additional schedule highlights include ‘Trends Around the World,’ a presentation on current and future lingerie trends hosted by Jos Berry, founder and chief executive officer of Concepts Paris; ‘Steps and Solutions to Sustainability’ with LIM College, a talk focused on sourcing, transportation, packaging, social rights, costing and marketing; and the “Swim x Sport x Innovation” hub, an additional event made with LIM College featuring technical and sustainable fabric and design innovations from the Interfilière New York exhibiting mills. 

Outside of New York, Eurovet hosts international trade shows dedicated to swimwear, lingerie and sports textiles in Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Cannes. Eurovet Americas is also the founder of CurveNewYork, a trade show platform on North America’s East Coast dedicated to intimate apparel and swimwear.
