Ireland's Carter Beauty launches on Boots webstore

While the big focus on what’s been happening product-wise at Boots in recent periods has been on its premium offer, the company continues to sell a huge number of value-priced ranges and the latest addition to its line-up is Irish brand Carter Beauty by Marissa Carter.

The brand launches on the retailer’s webstore on Thursday (July 4) having generated plenty of publicity due to it being used by a number of celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Kourtney Kardashian and Olivia Buckland.

The company’s prices start at only £5 with a tagline that reads “Beauty shouldn’t leave you broke.”

The company said its products have a strong focus on packaging and “pigments that pack a punch.”

The Boots listing is a big achievement for a brand that’s only a year old but, as mentioned, the buzz created by endorsements such as its bestselling £5 Supreme Gel Liner being worn by Ariana Grande in her Break up with your girlfriend I’m bored video has given it a huge marketing boost.

Marissa Carter has a strong track record being the entrepreneur behind the successful Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter product.

She said this week: “Cocoa Brown Tan has been such a massive success story that Carter Beauty had a lot to live up to. Instead of focusing on that I’ve tried to create really high quality, affordable products that I personally would love to have on my dressing table. Boots is a household name and that’s what we hope to become.”
