Kendall Jenner looks set to follow in the footsteps of her famous sisters, via a new beauty venture.

The supermodel has lodged an application to trademark the brand names ‘Kendall' and ‘Kendall Jenner' with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as reported by WWD. The applications cover a range of beauty products, including fragrances, face lotions, skin toners and lip gloss.

A solo beauty brand would be a major new career milestone for Jenner, but the model has amassed plenty of experience in the cosmetics industry over her years in front of the camera. She previously acted as the face of Estée Lauder's Estée Edit collection, collaborating with the brand on a lipstick launch, and last month she announced a partnership with the new oral care brand Moon to launch the 'Kendall Jenner Teeth Whitening Pen.'

Of course, if Jenner needs any advice about her new venture then she is in good hands: younger sister Kylie has famously built an entire beauty empire over the past few years with the launch of her ‘Kylie Cosmetics' label, which spans makeup products for the lips, eyes and face and earned its founder the 27th spot on Forbes's "America's Richest Self-Made Women" list last summer. Older sister Kim Kardashian West has also carved out a formidable reputation in the industry with her KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance brands, which have reportedly helped the star to amass a $350 million fortune.
