Isabel Marant to expand in China with Imaginex Group

Isabel Marant has found an ally to accelerate its esxpansion in Asia - or more accurately, the "Greater China" region. The eponymous Parisian house has just announced that it has signed a partnership with Imaginex Group to accelerate its development in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao.

Isabel Marant had already begun to open stores in Asia, including one in Beijing, one in Shanghai and two in Hong Kong. But within five years, the new partners have announced a dozen or so openings. The three cities where the brand is already present make up the priority targets of the agreement, in addition to Macao. 

A new location arising from the partnership with Imaginex Group will open on July 9 in Hong Kong, on On Lan Street. It will bring the number of Isabel Marant’s monobrand stores worldwide to 19. It’s worth noting that the retail development agreement concerns not only the Isabel Marant primary line, but also its second line, Isabel Marant Etoile.

Based in Hong Kong, Imaginex Group already has 21 premium and luxury brands in its portfolio, including Marc Jacobs, 3.1 Philip Lim and Paul Smith, to name a few.
