Italian label La Double J opens Parisian pop-up store at Bristol Hotel
High-end Milanese women’s ready-to-wear label La Double J has picked Paris as the venue of its latest pop-up store. The label's creations, designed by American former journalist and socialite J.J. Martin, will be showcased in the main hall of the Bristol Hotel from September 6 to October 20, in an 18 m2 pop-up store hosted by the hotel’s Eden Being boutique. The latter is a lifestyle brand owned by Oetker Collection, the subsidiary of German group Oetker Hotel Management, which runs a chain of luxury hotels, including the Bristol.
Aficionados of La Double J’s bright Mediterranean colours and cheerful prints will be able to pick from 40 of the label’s ready-to-wear and lifestyle products at the centrally located Parisian hotel, at 112 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. La Double J was launched in 2015, and is currently available at about 100 fashion retailers and department stores worldwide, among them Matchesfashion.com, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, Nordstrom and The Webster.
The label frequently adopts the pop-up store model, having done so at Biffi in Milan, Liberty in London, Galeries Lafayette in Paris and KaDeWe in Berlin. It has also collaborated with leading Italian art-of-living names like furniture brand Kartell, china tableware producer Ancap and Venetian glass artisan Salviati.
