J.Lo expands in Colombia with new stores

J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez continues its expansion in Colombia with a new store opening in Cali next week. 

The fashion brand entered the country nearly a year ago in partnership with local distributors, and has already launched two standalone boutiques.

Colombia is the second Latin American country to welcome the brand, which sees the market as a growth opportunity. Earlier this week, J.Lo launched the new Holiday collection with an in-store fashion show, presenting also the brand’s new lingerie range.

The brand offers womenswear items which are reminiscent of the singer and actress’ outfits and style. Jeans, party dresses, tops and leather jackets are combined in unique and glamourous ways, empowering women of all ages.

Juan Aristizabal, general manager of J.Lo Colombia said in an interview this week that J.Lo aims to have three freestanding boutiques in the country, particularly in Cali, by the end of 2016.

The first J.Lo store opened last year in Unicentro and the second launched this week at Chipichape mall. A third store is planned to open next week at Jardin Plaza.
