Alexander Hauser has been named as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Jack Wolfskin. Taking up the new role on 1 September, the 45-year-old will be responsible for the IT, warehouse, logistics, purchasing and in-house service divisions of the outdoor clothing brand.

As new COO, Hauser is also responsible for the further integration of Jack Wolfskin’s warehouse and IT systems with Callaway Golf Company, which acquired the brand in 2018.

Hauser joins from fashion jewellery label Beeline Group. Prior to that, he spent seven years in senior IT positions at the Otto Group.

Alexander Hauser will be the first COO at Jack Wolfskin, because the German brand had previously combined the CFO and COO responsibilities into one role. It announced in the summer it was separating the roles in order to better meet the requirements of Callaway.

Ante Franicevic, new chief financial officer at Jack Wolfskin, has been performing the COO duties on an interim basis since June.
