Corden has a lot of credits to his name, including recently starring in the movie Into the Woods, winning the prestigious Tony Award for his role in the play One Man, Two Guvnors, and is the new host of The Late Late Show on CBS.

Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, shared his thoughts on the choice of Corden as host: "As the charming and funny new host of The Late Late Show, we couldn’t think of a better time for James Corden to share his observations on American fashion at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards," said.

The annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement.

The 2015 CFDA Awards will be held on Monday, June 1st at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
