Jeweler Martin Katz opens new store in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills-based jeweler and designer Martin Katz announced his next move, a literal one, from his Brighton Way boutique to the landmark yellow Fred Hayman building on Canyon Drive. Located on the top floor, the 'Penthouse Suite' opened this month and offer guests a bespoke luxury client experience. 

“For over three decades, Martin Katz has redefined Beverly Hills luxury and the red carpet, infusing Hollywood culture with expert artistry and unparalleled taste," said the Martin Katz house. “He was one of the first independent designers to bejewel stars, starting in 1992 with his jewelry creations gracing the covers of virtually every important fashion magazine worldwide. Katz’s new atelier is a nod to that history, inspired by the golden era of Beverly Hills and the once-enjoyed luxe-lounge lifestyle experience.”
 
Designed to evoke Katz’s signature style that blends Art Deco influences and refined simplicity, the boutique features luxurious high-glossy camo lacquer finishes and granite, accented by charcoal and grey tones. Elegant glass doors open out onto a private terrace with views of Beverly Hills. Outfitted with state-of-the art technology, Katz will also offer clients an opportunity to connect digitally for virtual appointments.

“Our new location with its beautiful terrace offers a less formal and uniquely comfortable setting to enjoy a special jewelry experience, like no other,” Katz said. “My hope is that our penthouse will not just be a place to shop, but also become a social destination in itself.”

After twenty years in the Brighton Way boutique, Katz was ready to develop a redefined shopping experience and spend more time focusing on designing beautiful jewelry and enjoying more personalized client experience. The new salon will celebrate a return towards a more intimate luxury environment and feature spectacular, one-of-a-kind pieces created exclusively for the new location.

More than 25 years on the Hollywood red carpet, Katz was the first independent jeweller to hit the red carpet and has bejeweled over 500 celebrities including Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek, Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz and Nicole Kidman, to name a few. His passion for gems has earned him wide acclaim for designing beautifully-crafted, couture-quality pieces inspired from his love of vintage jewelry – contemporary pieces with an ‘old soul.’ 
 

To celebrate the opening of the Penthouse Suite, Katz will host a series of special events this season.
