Jewelry brand, Noémie launches in the US

Fine jewelry brand, Noémie officially launched online in February. The luxury jewelry brand from Yuvi Alpert, the designer of Ruby Kobo, aims to alter the industry with a direct-to-consumer model.

Alpert was inspired to launch the new jewelry line after experiencing retail price markups that would price out his target consumer. Despite the fact that his jewelry was stocked at the top retailers in the world, like Bergdorf Goodman, Colette, Liberty in London and Barneys in Japan, he felt that he couldn’t reach his customer.

“The jewelry industry felt outdated; it didn't make sense to me,” said Alpert. “The timing felt right for an opportunity to change the landscape by eliminating the middleman, controlling the production process and customer relationships, giving women access to luxurious materials crafted to last a lifetime at honest pricing. With Noémie, consumers finally have the option to pay a fair price without compromising on quality.”

Noémie jewelry is made to empower women. Alpert designs and manufactures the jewelry with a specific woman in mind that can only be described as a well-traveled woman with a preference for luxury that doesn’t define her. The New York City-based designer offers 18K gold and IGI certified diamonds directly to customers, which allows for the brand to offer the finest quality without the 5x to 10x retail markup.

The brand launched its Classic Collection in February, which includes timeless staple pieces ranging from $750 to $6,000, and it launched two limited edition collections, The Elephant Collection and The Entangled Love Collection for Valentine’s Day.

Alpert was first drawn to the jewelry industry when he was a student at the University of Miami. Since then, he has founded three jewelry lines: Noémie, Yuvi and Ruby Kobo, as well as a lifestyle accessories brand named Men In Cities.

Noémie jewelry is available on the brand website hellonoemie.com including the limited edition collections.
