Jodie Comer stars in new Loewe campaign

Jodie Comer has landed a new role as the star of Loewe's new fashion campaign.

The "Killing Eve" star -- who won the Emmy Award for Lead Actress, Drama, on Sunday night -- has stepped in front of the camera for the LVMH-owned luxury label's Spring/Summer 2020 campaign, which was shot by photographer Steven Meisel in Paris. The campaign comprises three images, including a portrait of Comer looking at her reflection in a mirror.

The British actor also puts her skills to good use in a short film directed by Benn Northover for the campaign, dubbed ‘Either Way,' which sees her enunciate the word ‘Loewe' using myriad emotions.

"Jodie is exceptionally talented, and what's so magical about her is that she is 100 per cent committed to an idea," said the brand's creative director Jonathan Anderson in a statement. "I find that incredibly inspiring and i think that's why people have gravitated towards her, and why we wanted to work with her in this campaign."

"Jonathan and his work are so incredibly distinctive," added Comer. "It's inspiring to work alongside someone who pushes boundaries and creates in the way that he does. I feel the Spring Summer 2020 collection really accentuates and celebrates femininity, which is a complete reflection of my experience shooting the campaign."
