Joey Wölffer opened the Styleliner, a large bus converted into an eclectic fashion store. The Styleliner brings the brick-and-mortar to customers in a surprising twist on “mobile” commerce.
In addition to the "mobile" store, the company operates an active e-commerce site, and will temporarily add two storefronts, one in Sag Harbor, NY and the second in Nantucket, MA.
The Sag Harbor 600 square-foot boutique just re-opened on May 5 for a second summer season. It will remain open until November. This will be the first season for the smaller 260 square-foot Nantucket store, which will open June 1 and close in September.
Both Styleliner stores will offer jewelry, textiles, caftans and vintage apparel, including handbags designed by Joey Wölffer, earrings from Shourouk, beachwear by U.K.-based Rose and Rose and ready-to-wear by Istanbul label Lug Von Siga with prices ranging from $50 to $2,000.
Joey Wölffer, designer and co-owner of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, created the Styleliner in June 2009, a truck that travels around the country to events and people’s homes selling accessories and fashion.
