John Legend's fashion business now lets online stylists pick out your wardrobe

John Legend's fashion website Bungalow Clothing has finally fully launched its online personal styling service for women.

The site, which combines the talents of a team of seasoned personal stylists with state-of-the-art technology to curate "dressing rooms" for clients, has been taken out of beta mode, meaning that users can now effectively use a stylist to choose a wardrobe for them, comprising brands such as Halston Heritage, IRO, J Brand Chaser, David Lerner and Ramy Brook. Over 100 brands are listed on the site in total.

The idea behind the concept is to bring the luxury boutique experience to shoppers' own homes. Clients will be sent a series of selected items at home before deciding whether or not to purchase them, and returned items will be collected from their home or office by simply sending a text message to the company. Shoppers will pay for the items they choose to keep.

"We are excited to announce what women have loved about the Bungalow Clothing experience from the beginning -- access to high-end brands in the most convenient way imaginable -- and make the experience even richer with our one-to-one personal styling service," said Grammy-winning singer Legend.

Founded in 2013 by Rob Wright, Jonathan Snyder, Meital Bronstein and John Legend, BungalowClothing.com aims to change the online shopping experience and process for the "higher-end female shopper". It provides high-tech personal styling services for women who like the convenience of e-commerce and do not always have time to shop in retail stores.

The concept of the home as the new changing room is something of a rising trend in the fashion industry. Earlier this year website Try.com launched, allowing users to order items from the high street, try them on at home and purchase or return them as necessary, while retail sites such as Net-A-Porter.com regularly use stylists and personal shoppers to help clients curate their closets.
