Jott appoints Laurent Hollander as sales director
Is he an L Catterton defector? Laurent Hollander, who has been with the Birkenstock group for more than three years, has joined JOTT to become the sales director of the French down jacket brand. Both companies have the particularity of having L Catterton, the fund linked to LVMH, as a majority shareholder.
After running his own company The Hanger, based in Paris, Laurent Hollander joined the German company as head of European sales, before becoming head of the French division. With his company, the manager accompanied brands, such as Tiger of Sweden or Ted Baker, in their organisation and commercial development on the French and European markets. Before creating this entity in 2011, Laurent Hollander had participated in the launch of AMI Paris. He was previously the international sales director at Sonia Rykiel from 2006 to 2008, a position he also held at Ungaro from 2004 to 2006. "His mission will be to develop the brand in France and internationally through a network of strategic BtoB partners," says JOTT management.
The executive joins the Just Over The Top management committee, led by Didier Lalance, who in the autumn explained his ambition to make the brand a global player. The Marseille-based brand was forecasting a turnover of 150 million euros in 2022 with some 200 shops. The brand plans to triple its activity by 2027 and should pass the 250 point of sale mark by the end of 2023.
