Fashion designer Julia Clancey, has teamed up with Talenthouse and handbag.com with the aim of finding an intern who will have the opportunity to work with her on her latest collection of accessories, which will be launched during New York city’s fashion week in February 2011.

Interested designers must submit two images of accessories that they have designed themselves through Talenthouse. The winner will be announced on July 29th 2010 and must be willing to move to Los Angeles ready to start in August 2010, work for six months and finish in February 2011.

Julia Clancey is known for her designs that embody beauty and feminine sensuality, using materials like silk and chiffon. Her jewellery encompasses the exotic and the desirable, inlaid with pearls and Swarovski crystals, these accessories take pride of place in the pages of magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Tatler and Style.
