Trendsetting legwear company K. Bell has befriended Internet sensation Grumpy Cat and just launched a holiday sock collection featuring the famous feline.
The limited edition collection includes Grumpy Cat inspired-socks for men, women, and children, many featuring memes including “Camouflaged Cat” and “Go Away” – some of the popular parodies of the infamous cat. Retail prices for the collection start at $9-$12 per pair on K. Bell’s e-commerce site.
Karen Bell, founder of K. Bell, said of the collection “We are a contemporary brand that aspires to stay on the pulse of pop culture so this partnership with Grumpy Cat only makes sense as she has global popularity and appeal.” Grumpy Cat has starred in the Lifetime Channel Christmas movie “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever” with over 3 million viewers, has been a New York Times Best Selling author twice, and was named by MSNBC The Most Influential Cat. The Grumpy Cat socks are being well received by the retailers with pre-orders and loyal cat customers are excited about the collection.
Karen Bell founded K. in 1978 by Karen Bell. The company, based in North Carolina, is known for fun, fashionable legwear with novelty designs. In 2010, the company was acquired by Renfro Corporation and currently is among the largest sock companies in the world.
