New-York based PR and production agency KCD wants to strengthen its European operations. The agency just announced that it has appointed Nan Richards to the post of European Strategic Growth Consultant. Having managed CNN’s European business for 10 years, Richards worked for several communications and media companies since 2007.

The New York agency opened its European office in Paris eleven years ago. In regards to its expansion plans, KCD wishes to spread its wings in particular in the UK. However, it is not a question of opening other offices, but rather of extending its presence and influence via new innovative ways, such as in 2010 when it joined social networking sites.

In her new position, Nan Richards will work alongside KCD’s presidents Ed Filipowski and Julie Mannion.
