The inaugural collection includes The Backpack, The Briefcase and The Duffle Bag, each of which was designed with individuality in mind regardless of race or culture. With features such as pockets and comfortable shoulder straps, each piece is designed to embody Kara’s philosophy of fashion meets function, according to the brand.

A Euromonitor report from 2015 predicted that the sales of men’s accessories would continue to rise due to demographic changes (millennials who are spending greater amounts of money on clothing and accessories), as well as the fact that there is more options than ever before in the men’s accessories channel. For example, Michael Kors was a pioneer in carrying a men’s collection at its flagship store in SoHo and key luxury department stores like Barneys New York and Saks Fifth Avenue have expanded their menswear offerings and departments.

The collection is sold exclusively on the Kara website.
