Karl Lagerfeld launches Karl Robot RTW SS 2016 capsule collection

Renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld debuted his Spring/Summer 2016 “Karl Robot” capsule collection. The collection features a variety of ready-to-wear clothes and accessories with quirky, whimsical motifs of galaxies, spaceships, robots and his famous cat Choupette.

 
The “Karl Robot” campaign stars Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi. The collection includes Vachetta pouches, bags and wallets, luggage tags, neoprene sweatshirts, key chains, iPhone cases and even a pair of sandals. Prices range from $39 for key chains to $485 for leather bags.

Karl Lagerfeld, born in Hamburg, Germany in 1938, entered the world of fashion very young and won the Woolmark Prize in 1954. He designs for many of the most distinguished luxury houses including Chanel, Fendi and Chloe. Lagerfeld is renowned for his ability to capture, anticipate and interpret future trends. Today, he continues to work as an acclaimed designer, photographer, publisher and film director.
